What that means in practice

The trips listed here are sold through GetYourGuide and Viator. When you follow a link from one of these pages and go on to book, the platform pays us a share of its own commission. You pay the same fare either way; the price on the booking page is the operator's price, not a marked-up one.

What we are not

We are not a boat operator. We do not run any of these trips, employ any of these skippers or guides, or hold your booking. Your contract is with the operator, through the platform.

We have no connection with the Ville de Nice, the Port of Nice, the Nice Côte d'Azur tourist office, Trans Côte d'Azur or any other boat, ferry or charter company.

How trips get listed

Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge. A badge on a card is a measured claim: Top rated only on a trip rated 4.9 or higher, Best seller only on the trip with the most reviews, Best value only on the cheapest. A platform's own badge is not shown. Today Best seller sits on the 1-hour coast cruise, which is also the lowest fare listed, so it carries no separate Best value; Top rated sits on Nissa Croisières' sunset trip, the most-reviewed of those rated 4.9 or higher.

The featured trips at the top of the homepage are three different kinds of trip from three places: a shared RIB to the Mala cave from the Port of Nice, the day boat to Monaco from Quai Lunel, and a private solar boat from Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

The Trans Côte d'Azur day boat to Monaco is sold on both platforms, and the same private boat from Port Silva Maris appears under two trading names. Neither pair is ever shown side by side, and each listing is described from its own page.

One listing is a coach day to Saint-Tropez with a short boat crossing, and says of itself that it is not a boat tour. It is here for travellers who want Saint-Tropez by road, and its card says what it is first.

Prices, ratings and how current they are

Prices, star ratings and review counts belong to the operators and were taken from their own listings on 26 September 2026. They move, and the figure at checkout is the one that counts. Every fare is quoted in US dollars because that is the currency the listings were captured in; nothing is converted at an exchange rate. A listing's time-limited discount is not shown, because it ends; the fare shown is the full one.

Some fares are per person and some per group, and each price says which. Where a charter's own exclusions add a fee paid on board, that fee is printed beside the price in the listing's own figures, in euros.

The timetables, seasons and euro fares of the scheduled boats are Trans Côte d'Azur's, from its own 2026 pages. Where a detail comes from a listing, such as a meeting point, a group size, an age or weight limit or what the fare covers, it belongs to that trip.

What we deliberately do not publish

• A Monaco landing that is not in the fare. Some charters carry “Nice/Monaco” in their names but list no stop in Monaco, and the Monaco speedboat excludes going ashore. No card promises a landing.
• “Skip the line”. One listing carries the label. There is no queue to skip on a boat, so it is not shown.
• A sunset sailing after the last printed date. One catamaran's sunset timetable stops on 5 October 2026. We do not print a later time.
• Desk opening hours. Trans Côte d'Azur publishes sailing times, not desk hours, so none are printed.
• A price without its fee. Where a charter adds a fee on board, the price is never shown without it.
